Itacho Sushi is a subsidiary brand of Taste of Japan Group founded in Hong Kong back in 2004. The group visualizes the importance to provide excellent quality of food in a comfortable dining environment, sincere service attitude at an affordable price point.
Our food ingredients are mainly sourced from Tokyo, Hokkaido, and Kyushu in Japan. We then delegate procurement personnel in Japan to purchase the ingredients and have it directly shipped to all our restaurants.
Itacho Sushi currently has outlets in Hong Kong and Singapore. With Itacho Sushi Singapore having marked its 15th anniversary in July 2024, we aim to excel and hold on to our motto for many more years to come.
Our Blue Fin Tuna
Itacho Sushi using Blue Fin Tuna is freshly supplied by [やま幸], a renowned supplier from Toyosu Market. Founded by Yamaguchi San in Showa 49 (1974), [やま幸] has been a trusted name from Tsukiji to Toyosu, specializing in premium, high-quality tuna for many years. Their offerings include a variety of tuna, both fresh and frozen, such as Blue Fin Tuna, Indian Tuna, and Swordfish, earning them the nickname "Tuna Department Store" in the market.
Blue Fin Tuna is considered the pinnacle of tuna varieties, distinguished by its exceptional quality, rich flavor, and superior texture. Unlike other types of tuna, Blue Fin Tuna boasts a higher fat content, resulting in a buttery, melt-in-the-mouth experience that is highly prized by sushi and sashimi connoisseurs. Its deep red color and marbling are indicators of its premium status, offering a more luxurious and refined taste compared to other tunas. Sourced from the best suppliers, Blue Fin Tuna is a true delicacy, celebrated for its unmatched quality and exquisite dining experience.
